would it be possible if neccesary to have a room, a sort of a cross between the lounge and modern theravada rooms, where Theravadhan Buddhist education, modern interpretations such as MBCT and Buddhist psycology is discussed?
there have been a few threads now on the former, and the latter may apear more frequently.

What about these topics do you think could not already be discussed in (for example), the "Theravada for the modern world" forum.

Perhaps we could expand the sub-text of that forum from "Theravada in the 21st century" to make it more inclusive of such things?

my main thinking was for it to be all in one place instead of wondering if it fitted in the Abhidhamma, modern, or lounge rooms, but whatever is easiest!

Combining a couple of the ideas above, what if we were to change the sub-text of the "Theravada for the modern world" forum to read...

"Theravada in the 21st century - modern applications of ancient wisdom."

Would that cover the kind of subject matter you're thinking of?
