Humor is good, but seriously, I sometimes think there might be less scandals with a greater proportion of females as monastics. It certainly has been too male dominated for some time now, which is fortunately changing now.

Yes, Bhante. It is very hard often nowadays to discern what is really serious. But I think you are actually being considerate here by sharing awareness and inviting wholesome discussion.

Because Bhante Sujato is well-liked. And many people might share their supportive thoughts for him with consideration, from which one can learn.

Although I rather wish for him that he may attain in this lifetime the peace of Nibbana, since great effort he has really done!

Bhante Sujato in a previous post shares a gift that he received from a bhikkhuni, Adhimutta, and I will quote some sentences out of context from her blog:

And this is true with the Bhikkhunis in some ways probably and we have to learn right acknowledgement.

"What seems normal and natural, if we don’t take good care to keep the causes and conditions strong, can become distant and unattainable."
This is very true. We must learn to be aware.

Maybe I will think to share some awareness about this, although I don't have much here.

Maybe it is good to invite in this place our good friend starter, who, I think has much awareness for such things.

I think Bhante Sujato is a great monk, a good teacher and a friendly, humble and down to earth individual. All my dialogue with him has been extremely positive, I wish there were more people like him in the world, it would be a better place for it
