Hello, here a silly presentation :)

Post by diaylos »

my :quote: English is my first problem. I used to visit santacittarama, and i wish to visit SriLanka, but first i want to improve my English and Buddhism acknowledgment. Imho, since my first visit to a monastery, my god, it was simple amazing. It's difficult to me explain what i am dreaming but i am thinking to become a person who admire Buddha, for his intelligence, perfection and fruitful words.
my spiritual  to all.

ps: You could say. Ok, this is not a English teaching forum, just i thought it could be a good idea "get" whole at same.

Welcome.
How was Ajahn Chandapalo? Does he speak good Italian?
I knew him many many years ago when he was a young Monk

Benvenuto(a)! Welcome diaylos! Vivi ancora in Italia? (Do you still live in Italy?) Do you have any recommendations for Dhamma talks in Italian? I hope you find our community here helpful and I wish you all the best!

hello, I do not know a lot of resources on the Dhamma, the more of those you already know. If there is a list in the Italian section, I'll take care of updating them, if I had any reference. Currently I am working to translate 'in simple terms - 108 similis Dhamma for contemplation' by Ajahn Chah in Italian ...

my English is not good so I try to translate keeping as close as possible, and trying to bring that golden accompanying text.

Well, I would be interested to see what you come up with and if you need help with English I'm always happy to help (Mi interesserebbe vedere cio che fai con i versi e se hai bisogno di aiuto con l'inglese io sono sempre disponibile). Metta!
