I am a Buddhist from a place called Budaševo(Buddhashevo)

Post by smokey »

Hello everyone. My name is Goran, I am 21 years old and live in Croatia, in a place called Budaševo (pronounced Buddhashevo). I have taken my interest in Buddhism a long time ago. I have become a Buddhist about a year ago, perhaps a year and a half. I am a very spiritual person and have a crazy, sometimes weird sense for humor. My friends call me smokey. If anyone wishes to become my facebook friend, then by all means, please add me. Here is the link to my profile: http://www.facebook.com/goran.smolcic" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .

:hello:

Welcome to Dhamma Wheel!

I like the name of that town! Is it a coincidence or is there any historical connection to Buddhism?

Welcome Goran!
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Thank you for welcoming me to this wonderful forum. The name of the place is a coincidence. It is named after Count Budaš(Buddhash) who lived here a long time ago and this place was his property.

Welcome!

Nice to see other young people here. I'm 23 and live in the States. It's always fun to meet other young Buddhists.
