Stepped on a patch of ice or snow and my foot slipped. Landed hard on my limited padding buttaroo. Head hit the ground next and the oxygen tank fell on my left knee. So, my sister and I got me onto my feet (which wasn't easy), back into the car, and returned to the hospital. This time to the emergency room. I was there over 3 hours and had x-rays and CT scans. Turns out I am alright, just very sore. The goose egg sized lump on my head is already almost gone! So, I have a lot to be thankful for! No broken bones, no concussion and my sister and I between our obvious distress, got a few laughs about it. For instance, if I had waited, like I was suppose to, for her to help me, I would have probably taken us both out. Then, where would we be?!
Happy day to everyone!
ps. The title of your post made me think of this song by the Beatles

I like this gift as it represents a magical exchange and balance to me.
Am I the only one in a happy place right now?
You are the only one in a happy place right now.

Today I had to go out and streets were extremely slippery, almost like an ice rink! I had to watch my every step and concentrate on walking there - right mindfulness in action. It was almost meditative!
Now I am just happy I am at home and I didn't fell at all...
