HI villkorkarma

i mean no offense but if you are not happy without snuff then you are not an arahant....
perhaps someday you will be but firrst you must finish with snuff....

:namaste:
Aflame with the fire of passion, the fire of aversion, the fire of delusion.
Aflame, with birth, aging & death, with sorrows, lamentations, pains, distresses, & despairs ......

Seeing thus, the disciple of the Noble One grows disenchanted. SN 35.28

Dear villkorkarma,

I ask them because I hope I can help you. But if you would like me to stop, I gladly will.

You are not an Arahant for many reasons, the least of which kitztack mentioned. I think it'd be for your long-term welfare if you showed respect and reverence for those Noble Ones who have practiced well.

Dear villkorkarma,

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. I advise you stop this line of reasoning and work on your defilements.

Cultivating respect and reverence of the Noble Ones is of utmost importance, in my opinion.

Dear villkorkarma,

Which one is it? You keep swinging back and forth between one saying one view then another. How can I trust what you're saying if you keep contradicting yourself?

Dear villkorkarma,

To me, when you use the phrase: "I Think", it sounds like you're still saying "I don't know". Are you an arahant, yes or no?

For myself, I know I'm not an arahant.

Dear villkorkarma,

So you don't know if you're a fully enlightened being? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

An arahant doesn't necessarily have to be dead.

Dear villkorkarma,

Because it's contradictory. The stock description of an arahant is one who KNOWS.
Being disenchanted, he becomes dispassionate. Through dispassion [his mind] is liberated. When it is liberated there comes the knowledge: 'It is liberated.' He understands: 'Birth is destroyed, the holy life has been lived, what had to be done has been done, there is no more coming to any state of being.'
-MN 22, Ven. Bodhi's translation.
