Postby ihrjordan » Thu Mar 13, 2014 5:21 am

:spy: Umm so yeh, Iv'e actually been a registered member on here for about 6 months but completely forgot about this site or never got around to using it. But after developing more in the meditation practice, and changing around things in my life; I feel like i need to make some friends who are like minded and this seems like a good place to start.

Greetings Jordan and welcome to DW!
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Welcome!

“What should be done for his disciples out of compassion by a teacher who seeks their welfare and has compassion for them, that I have done for you, bhikkhus. There are these roots of trees, these empty huts. Meditate, bhikkhus, do not delay or else you will regret it later. This is our instruction to you.” - MN 19

And which is the root of all malady within and without,

That Such-like-one is truly known as 'the one who has understood'."
(Snp 3.6)
