Is Vipassana meditation practiced in other Buddhist traditions as well, besides theravada?

There is a certain range of variations in Theravada Vipassana. For instance, the Goenka method is not exactly like Mahasi method. With this in mind, you can look at some forms of Zen, and also at Tibetan Mahamudra and Dzogchen, and you will find that they at least come very close to Vipassana.
