I know global time differences may be a factor....

Just wondering.

The moderators may need to comunicate with eachother. Or the particular moderator may be offline.
Be patient
Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

Oh I'm perfectly patient.
I just wondered what the best way of contacting them is.
I realise replies may take time, as i indicated in my post.
I'm merely questioning if PM is the right/best way.

many thanks for your reply.

Who did you attempt to contact?

Are you sure you sent a pm and not an email?
The email module on this board is disabled.
If the issue is urgent, you might wish to contact someone other than David.
Kind regards,
Ben

I just PMd you back. Yes, as Ben mentions it is good to PM more than one moderator due to time differences or if one is busy, not online, etc. You can add more moderators to a single PM in the cc field similar to an email.

For future reference, does the site keep a list of active moderators anywhere? Or should we just look for the green usernames?

At the bottom of the page, there should be blue letters which read "The team"
Click on that for the full list.

Mr Snyder, I have forwarded you a PM. I have copied in Ben.

We have established that the triangled "!" is non-functional for PM alerting, although it works perfectly for Forum Posts in threads.

Thank you for your time and patience.
This thread could now be closed if you wish, or left open for further contributions.
