Good resources in non-English languages

Postby Hoja » Fri Jul 17, 2009 2:32 am

I'm not sure if I'm the only one from a spanish speaking country, but anyway... here are two good sites with sutta translations in Spanish.

http://www.dharmatranslation.org/buddhi ... ndarticles
Go to the Spanish section. Fernando Tola and Carmen Dragonetti are the most renowned sanskrit and pali experts in the spanish speaking world.

http://www.bosquetheravada.org
They are translating suttas from Access to Insight, and have a blog where Bhikkhu Sujato use to post and answer questions.

PS: I'm not sure if the post should be here, so feel free to move it if you consider it should be in a better place.

This a a fine place for it. Will pin or sticky it or what ever the expression is so it stays on top. As you find other source please feel free to add them.

Thanks. Interesting links.
Theoretical approaches have their place and are, I suppose, essential but a theory must be tempered with reality.

Theravada Buddhism in Dutch: http://www.sleuteltotinzicht.nl/

This is roughly the Dutch equivalent of http://www.accesstoinsight.org/

"Sleutel tot Inzicht" is even a rough translation of "Access to Insight". Literally it would mean "Key to Insight".
Suffering is asking from life what it can never give you.
