We hope this email finds you well and happy.
We appreciate your participation, if you made it to the dedication ceremony of Bodhi Tree as a Satipatthana Vipassana Retreat Centre on the 15th of December, 2009 by the Venerable Sayadaw U Janaka, a Meditation Master from Burma and the teacher of Venerable Pannyavaro. We understand if you wanted to join, but could not make it.
If you, or a friend of yours, are interested in helping Bodhi Tree in a non-financial way, we can provide accommodation and food, with a small amount for basic expenses like petrol. We need help in these areas: bush regeneration, cooking/shopping, admin work, website maintenance, small motor maintenance, odd jobs and last but not least - cleaning. If you can help with any of these jobs, then it would lessen the workload of the 3 resident monks who work 24/7 to keep Bodhi Tree going, thanks
We would appreciate some short term help [e.g. for specific retreats], but it is especially long term help that we seek.Please let us know if Bodhi Tree were listed with Centrelink as a volunteer organisation, so 15 hours of your volunteer work here would fulfil the conditions for Centrelink benefit, if that would enable you to be a live-in volunteer and how long you might like to do that.
