Just wanted to tell you guys that I couldn't access neither Dhammawheel nor Dharmawheel from 8 to almost 12 pm European time.
I could access all other fora and everything else.
I was quite alerted, needless to say.
Any idea what was wrong?
Ty,
A

Nothing was wrong. Unstable, unreliable conditions were behaving according to their expected nature.

Ah. I'm glad the site didn't hacked. I thought it may be valuable information, since before E sangha went down, it had short prior disappearances too.
I'm no computer specialist, so pardon my ignorance...

Greetings Annabel,
I believe the server was being rebooted. If you're a member of "Dhamma Wheel on Facebook" on Facebook, then there was a link posted to the hosting provider's run-sheet of events.
We endeavour to use that group as an information source if/when Dhamma Wheel or Dharma Wheel are ever down for decent amounts of time, so as to keep members informed.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)

lol sorry i was talking about the sister site DHARMAwheel. The little r next to the m does make it hard to read differently.

It can help with memory issues sometimes... but as for a proper technical explanation, the limits of my knowledge have been reached.
