Ordination Question

Postby theravada_guy » Wed Jan 27, 2010 2:33 am

Greetings all,

Over the course of time, I have considered going forth. What are the diseases that keep one from ordaining? I have eczema...And as far as I know, that's one of them. Am I right with that view? Am I totally put out from ever becoming a bhikku? I also take medication for depression. What would the view be on this one?

Search the page for 'eczema'. Yes, it is a disqualification. Not sure about the meds.

This may help the skin condition itself. Please show it to your doctor.

If your doctor agrees with the study, let me know how it goes. :anjali:
