Happy Birthday Stefan!

“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”

Happy B Day buddy!

:anjali:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Thanks guys, thank you so much!

I'm having the time of my life. I'm feeling really happy these days, and I have to thank the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha for this. My practice is going very well. My goal is to improve myself to the point where I can convince my mother to let me ordain and become a monk, because currently she is against it.

Anyway, it's an honour to be a part of this community!

Thanks again.

Greetings Stefan,

Alternatively, you could become a samanera without parental permission. ;)

Metta,
Retro. :)

Честит рожден ден Стефан!
I hope the translationsoftware got it right...

Birthdays always remind me on Ajahn Chah quotes:
Ajahn Chah wrote:If you're afraid of illnesses, if you are afraid of death, then you should contemplate where they come from. Where do they come from? They arise from birth. So don't be sad when someone dies - it's just nature, and his suffering in this life is over. If you want to be sad, be sad when people are born: "Oh, no, they've come again. They're going to suffer and die again!"
best wishes, acinteyyo
Thag 1.20. Ajita - I do not fear death; nor do I long for life. I’ll lay down this body, aware and mindful.

That's something I am going to think about.

Perfectly correct.

Thank you one and all!

Yo, Stefan, my smiling Buddha-Sangha friend! I hope every day finds you as happy as you are right now!
Great to know you, and have you here!

Many happies!

I am sooooo happy - How on earth could I be otherwise?! :D
