If you were stranded on a desert island, and could only have 3 books, which 3 would you take? They dont have to be Dhamma books either.
For myself in particular order:
1. Food for the Heart by Ajahn Chah
2. The Dhammapada by John Ross Carter
3. The Connected Discourses of the Buddha: A Translation of the Samyutta Nikaya by Bikkhu Bodhi
“What should be done for his disciples out of compassion by a teacher who seeks their welfare and has compassion for them, that I have done for you, bhikkhus. There are these roots of trees, these empty huts. Meditate, bhikkhus, do not delay or else you will regret it later. This is our instruction to you.” - MN 19
