It might perhaps be of interest to someone to know that I recently have published a small Introduction to Pali in Norwegian:
http://www.lienet.no/forfatt.htm#PaliBut since there probably are more people on this board who read Pali than those who read Norwegian, maybe I really ought to write an Introduction to Norwegian through the medium of Pali ...

I commend you on your efforts! Despite the fact that I'll never have use for such a thing, it is always glad to see Dhamma being introduced in various ways in various languages.

OK, I'll start right now. I'm going to write an "Introduction to Norwegian for Theravada Buddhists who only know Pali". And the book will be entirely in Pali - except, of course, for the practice sentences in Norwegian!
