Pictures of revered teachers, places, rupas, temples, bhikkhus, shrine rooms etc. that bring inspiration to our members. Pilgrimage advice etc.
I'm looking for the pic of the Buddha they have behind the front cover of "In the Buddha's Words", an anthology of translations of the Pali Cannon by Bhikkhu Bodhi. If anyone has a pic of that or knows where it is, please let me know, cuz I really like that pic! Thank you!

I don't have a copy of the book at hand but if I remember correctly it was this statue:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... nm%29.jpeg
"Once you understand anatta, then the burden of life is gone. You’ll be at peace with the world. When we see beyond self, we no longer cling to happiness and we can truly be happy."

My philosophy is simple: saying 'yes' to the positive and 'no' to the negative; because the positive is so much better than the negative.
