emails/subscriptions yet

Post by Sher »

Hello:
I've been away for the past 4 months teaching, and I am wondering if the email subscriptions for dhamma wheel are working yet? Are there any plans for this feature to work? By feature, I mean when someone responds to your post, you get an email notification at your home email that someone has responded. Thanks, Sher

Still no luck with that. Still the only solution is the one I use:

1. Bookmark our site.
2. Check it daily, at least once per day. :juggling:
3. Check for your messages and click 'Active Topics' for all the recent discussions. :coffee:

What exactly is making the trouble? If I might inquire.

I like the idea of email subs.

I second that.
But it's wonderful to have the forums as they are now anyway, off course.

Thanks...

Greetings,

That's the main problem... we can't diagnose why it's not working, and as such can't even narrow the problem down to whether it's an issue with the way we have Dhamma Wheel set up, or whether it's some kind of technical conflict between phpBB3 and the hosting company's technology infrastructural setup.

Metta,
