Calvin & Hobbes on the economy.

Post by Individual »

This comic is 15-years-old, but somebody just shared it with me, and it seems great... and pretty relevant. :)

The comic is here:

Kid looks a bit like a young Dick Cheney...

I just love Calvin & Hobbes :jumping:

That is a brilliant cartoon, high finance explained in 10 seconds.

That is why I considered Cartoons an amazing form of art, Bill Watterson is a cartoon master.

A colleague of mine introduced me to Calvin & Hobbes last year. I love it!

“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.
