Wow, Ben, I'm sorry you're not going to be so active. Like so many other people here, you've helped me greatly (even if it was by answering someone else and I was simply sitting back and reading). I have always found your commitment to practice inspiring. I wish you every success in your new venture! May you be presented with ample opportunities to teach the Dhamma to new people by living it.

And as for JC and Mike... what great choices congratulations you two! I've never really been involved with the Dhamma study group (I tend to read far too slowly and try to over-analyse things to such an extent that I'd simply hold the 'class' back )... it'll be interesting to see how dhammawheel changes over the next few months. I hope I don't cause too much bother for either of you. Good luck

Since being here I have often been amazed at how a gentle touch could accomplish so much. Thanks Ben.

I think JC and Mike have very large shoes to fill. Luckily I think you guys are up to the task.

No suprises with the new additions, both were moderators of Theravada over at the grey forum, if I recall, and I although Dhamma Wheel (being an open medium) is still subject to the occasional nut job, nothing on the scale (I suspect) of what you would have encountered at the defunct joint.

Another announcement!



Venerable Dhammanando has decided to step down from his global moderator position on account of being very busy with a variety of monastic responsibilities. Venerable Dhammanando was both an active contributor and an excellent moderator in the formative days of Dhamma Wheel. We were pleased to be able to provide a platform by which he could speak on the Dhamma after he left E-Sangha, and in many respects, this forum would probably not have come to fruition or blossomed as it has, without his input and involvement during that formative period.

Please join me in thanking venerable Dhammanando for his service to Dhamma Wheel.
