Since being here I have often been amazed at how a gentle touch could accomplish so much. Thanks Ben.
I think JC and Mike have very large shoes to fill. Luckily I think you guys are up to the task.

May I add my small voice of gratitude to Ben for all his tireless efforts and support.....?
I would like to make it known that Ben has often fenced and fielded some communications from me when I have needed personal support, and has been an utmost pillar of strength to me, at times when I could cheerfully have jacked all this in, and things seemed at their bleakest.
I hope he won't be completely absent, and that we will have the pleasure, from time to time, of his presence here.
Congratulations must go to Mike, and to JC.
Incidentally - can JC walk on water? Is this a major cross for him to bear?
I think we should be told!
Well done, guys!

Hello all,
Congratulations to Mike and JC ~ exactly the right choices! Of course, you now realise (as dear Ben will also) "You can check out any time you like ~ but you can never leave!"
Had to put that in ~ The Eagles are coming to Brisbane in December and I'll be there ...

Outstanding job Ben! And I don't use the word "outstanding" very often, so that's saying something!
Four types of letting go:
1) Giving; expecting nothing back in return
2) Throwing things away
3) Contentment; wanting to be here, not wanting to be anywhere else
4) "Teflon Mind"; having a mind which doesn't accumulate things

Ben, you've spent a lot of time answering questions of mine over the last few years both here and at E-Sangha, and it's been very much appreciated. Hope we'll still see you around here when time permits.
And big congrats to Mike and JC! Great choices, both.

Wow, Ben, I'm sorry you're not going to be so active. Like so many other people here, you've helped me greatly (even if it was by answering someone else and I was simply sitting back and reading). I have always found your commitment to practice inspiring. I wish you every success in your new venture! May you be presented with ample opportunities to teach the Dhamma to new people by living it.
And as for JC and Mike... what great choices congratulations you two! I've never really been involved with the Dhamma study group (I tend to read far too slowly and try to over-analyse things to such an extent that I'd simply hold the 'class' back )... it'll be interesting to see how dhammawheel changes over the next few months. I hope I don't cause too much bother for either of you. Good luck
