I think JC and Mike have very large shoes to fill. Luckily I think you guys are up to the task.

Thank you Ben, for your time, effort and everything you did to contribute to this great theravada discussion place.

May be happy and free.

Ben,
I'd offer an e-hug, but I'm just not that kind of guy.
So instead I'll just thank you and wish you and your family all the best!

No suprises with the new additions, both were moderators of Theravada over at the grey forum, if I recall, and I although Dhamma Wheel (being an open medium) is still subject to the occasional nut job, nothing on the scale (I suspect) of what you would have encountered at the defunct joint.

Good on ya' Ben, for everything :)

Thank you so much for all of your hard work, Ben! You and the DhammaWheel staff have really defined this place, I believe :toast:

And allow me to welcome our new overlords! I'm sure you'll all do a spectacular job

Greetings,

Another announcement!

:soap:

Venerable Dhammanando has decided to step down from his global moderator position on account of being very busy with a variety of monastic responsibilities. Venerable Dhammanando was both an active contributor and an excellent moderator in the formative days of Dhamma Wheel. We were pleased to be able to provide a platform by which he could speak on the Dhamma after he left E-Sangha, and in many respects, this forum would probably not have come to fruition or blossomed as it has, without his input and involvement during that formative period.

Please join me in thanking venerable Dhammanando for his service to Dhamma Wheel.

Metta,
Retro. :)

Thank you, Ven Dhammanando, for your wise contributions here and, earlier, on e-Sangha.
We never quite know each other on online forums but we do learn what to expect when we see a particular name attached to a post, and I always looked forward to reading your posts, whatever the topic.
Metta,
