JC is such a nice guy and I always enjoyed his thoughts here on DW. I sure hope that he recovers.
Metta JC, you're already missed.
Metta to his wife and family. I'm sorry for your circumstances

So sad to hear that, metta to him and his loved ones.

May James and his loved ones find some comfort in the dhamma during this difficult time.

I'm very sad to hear this. James will be in my thoughts. My best wishes to him and his family.

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

My heart aches for his wife. It's a great loss if it's true. I will be dedicating the merit of all of my practice to James. Sabbe sattaa sabba dukkha pamuccantu.

To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Wow, this is very sad news. Such a great loss.
"As Buddhists, we should aim to develop relationships that are not predominated by grasping and clinging. Our relationships should be characterised by the brahmaviharas of metta (loving kindness), mudita (sympathetic joy), karuna (compassion), and upekkha (equanimity)."

Re: Regarding the absence of "JCSuperstar"
I had deeply hoped he'd pull through. This is very sad news. My heart and thoughts go out to his family. He was a brilliant teacher, at least I learnt a lot from him. There'll be a large JC shaped hole here and I'm sure elsewhere now
