JC will be missed here, and elsewhere too I'm sure.
Something like this happening suddenly brings home that even though we know our lives are impermanent it often doesn't really sink in, and we live as if we can be certain we have many years ahead of us.

Pronouns (no self / not self)
“Peace is within oneself to be found in the same place as agitation and suffering. It is not found in a forest or on a hilltop, nor is it given by a teacher. Where you experience suffering, you can also find freedom from suffering. Trying to run away from suffering is actually to run toward it.”
― Ajahn Chah

Such sad news.
Anicca vata sankhara ...
May James have a rebirth where he can hear and practise the Dhamma
May James have happiness and the causes of happiness
May he quickly progress on the path to Nibbana and never fall back.
May those he has left behind be free of mental and physical pain.
with metta and karuna

Such sadness that brings home the Buddha's call to urgency.
May his family be strong and remember his goodness.

Hard to believe.
My condolences to his family.
Re: Regarding the absence of "JCSuperstar"
I'm saddened to discover this. I worked with James briefly at e-sangha and always considered him a very genuine and kind fellow practitioner. He will be missed.
May he be happy and at peace wherever he goes from here. May his loved ones be happy and at peace.

Terrible news. He had developed provisions for the journey, that enthusiasm for and understanding of Dhamma...

I second this beautiful verses.
May James have a rebirth where he can hear and practise the Dhamma
May James have happiness and the causes of happiness
May he quickly progress on the path to Nibbana and never fall back.
May those he has left behind be free of mental and physical pain.
May you be free from suffering, James.
With metta,

Meditate, don't be negligent, lest you may later regret it!
Re: Regarding the absence of "JCSuperstar"
I just stumbled upon this news on Facebook. How tragic. I don't even know what to say. This sucks.
JC was an excellent poster and moderator. I learned a lot from him.
Much metta to James's family and friends in their time of loss.
