Greetings,

A bit of variation here from the predominantly indie and synth stylings of much of the countdown... it's my favourite reggae singer, Johnny Clarke.

So far the list has been great..... but Morrissey and the Smiths did nothing for me. I always thought that they tried to be too much like Joy Division. Morrissey was too whiny for me. Great music so far though.
But if this neutral feeling that has arisen is conditioned by the body which is impermanent, compounded and dependently arisen, how could such a neutral feeling be permanent? - SN 36.7

Can it get any better than this?:

New music video by Neil Young:

Produced by Daniel Lanois.
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.
- Sutta Nipata 3.725
