Is there a way to limit the avatars to a certain size, so that they don't cover a part of the post?
Thanks,

Re: Too large avatars
I agree, there should be a size limit of 100x100 pixels. That is plenty big enough. Buddhists should have small egos, and small avatars.
You can turn avatars off in the User Control Panel, Board Preferences, Edit Display Options.

Dear Bhante and all
There is some information here: http://www.dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=26" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on reducing the avatar size to what is 'optimal' for the board software. And I agree with the sentiment that a 'small' avatar is a 'good' avatar.

Hi Craig,
Your's is OK because it is only a little over 100 pixels wide (126 x 300). It's the ones that are 200 pixels or so wide and which therefore overlap with the text if you magnify the pages (by using "Control +" on Firefox or IE).
For some users I have to shrink down the size to be able to see the text...

Fixed mine. Apologies.

Lest it be soddened by the rain.

Re: Too large avatars
I set the maximum avatar size to 150 x 150 px for all new registrations.
All existing DW-ers who have large avatars and don't want to annoy people, follow the instructions on http://www.dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=26 to reduce your avatar's size.

Yours is ok, because it's not covering any text!clw_uk wrote:Does anyone think mine is to big, i dont mind trying to change it, i had trouble uploading it (manapa had to help me lol) so just left it as it was instead of trying to change it further incase i messed it up
