Good news today

Post by Hoo »

Hi everyone,

Some of you know that I had a brain tumor removed this past spring and have been on cancer treatment ever since. Today was the second big checkup and it was clean. There was no sign of the tumor or any new growth. I'll remain on cancer treatment for many months, with major checkups every three months, because that is the treatment that seems to work best. So it looks like the treatment is working well.

Hoo, who may have time to finish reading the Suttas after all :)

Wow, awesome news. I don't even want to imagine the distress you've gone through. Glad you're recovering!

Congratulations, Hoo!
Great news indeed!

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Thanks, evereyone, for your kind words and wishes.

It's interesting to note that there was no "self" visble in the MRI or any of the other tests. But there was clearly a brain there, which pretty well shot what the wife says from time to time :)
