Hi everyone,
Some of you know that I had a brain tumor removed this past spring and have been on cancer treatment ever since. Today was the second big checkup and it was clean. There was no sign of the tumor or any new growth. I'll remain on cancer treatment for many months, with major checkups every three months, because that is the treatment that seems to work best. So it looks like the treatment is working well.

Wow, awesome news. I don't even want to imagine the distress you've gone through. Glad you're recovering!

Good on you.
What is the use of his knowledge
pertaining to the number of insects in the whole world?
Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us

Thanks, evereyone, for your kind words and wishes.
It's interesting to note that there was no "self" visble in the MRI or any of the other tests. But there was clearly a brain there, which pretty well shot what the wife says from time to time

Great news, Hoo. So good to hear!

Through many of samsara’s births I hasten seeking, finding not the builder of this house - pain is birth again, again.
O builder of this house you’re seen, you shall not build a house again, all your beams have given away, rafters of the ridge decayed, mind to the unconditioned gone, exhaustion of craving has it reached.

Great news

Suffering is asking from life what it can never give you.
