Re: How is it possible to attain arahantship without jhana?

SN 12.70: Susima Sutta — About Susima The Buddha explains to Susima that development of psychic powers is not a prerequisite for enlightenment. Translator's note: This discourse is sometimes cited as proof that a meditator can attain Awakening (final gnosis) without having practiced the jhanas, but...

Re: What Sutta? on the enlightenment of the monks and different achievements

Thanks,

But I think that this is not the Sutta that I am looking for ..

In this Sutta the Buddha does not say that everyone is enlightened.

he doesn't say that some remember their past lives and others don't.

Re: How is it possible to attain arahantship without jhana?

It seems possible .. but and the Eightfold Path? The Blessed One said, "Now what, monks, is the Noble Eightfold Path? Right view, right resolve, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. "And what, monks, is right concentration? (i) There is ...

Buddhist cosmology of the Theravada school Human Beings (manussa loka) 5 - Human ( manussa loka ): Birth in this plane results from giving and moral discipline of middling quality. This is the realm of moral choice where destiny can be guided. The Khana Sutta mentioned that this plane is a unique b...

Re: does planet earth has jhana realm?

All realms of consciousness, and all living beings originate from the mind. Because of that, it’s far better that you focus exclusively on your own mind. There you will find the whole universe. ... It’s important to understand that these realms exist as dimensions of consciousness and not as physic...

Re: If human is the best realm

I think the Human Kingdom is the best Kingdom to practice Dhamma. Because here in the human realm you don't have as much happiness as in paradise or higher kingdoms and you don't have as much suffering as in hell or lower kingdoms. Re: DN 2 conclusively details: What is rūpa (form), and a-rūpa in four jhānas context?

This discussion of form reminded me of the concept of the Hologram... Holography is the science and practice of making holograms. A hologram, also known as a holograph,[1] (from the Greek for "whole description" or "whole picture") is a recording of an interference pattern which uses diffraction to ...
