Animals must have a self view. At least many of them. You can tell by seeing their territorial behavior.

Try finding a place free from disturbances which can arouse your senses. Once you find that place, sit down comfortably and close your eyes. You realize you are left with your mind, and your mind can be directed to a meditation subject. But what disturbs your interaction with your mind or irritates...

I mean it's not only that they entice desire which is suffering by itself but also the bad things that are done on account of sensual pleasures

I think restrain and seclusion can show the suffering that is craving. To see the danger in sensual pleasures is good to read about what is this danger about in MN 13
