I broke a precept today...

I lied to my teacher that I was writing what she was saying down, now I feel bad for lying, I wish to do better. She was helping me at the time, I wish to repay her kindness. What can I do to make amends?

Lovingkindness Meditation

Hi there!
I was pondering about metta meditation, I often refrain from doing it because I feel that it will drain my energy and tire me out. I often have the view that it is a waste of time. Is this the case? How do I find the motivation to do it?

Re: Newbie Impermanence topic question.

Hi there! I’m fairly new into delving deeper into the practice of Buddhism myself, so I hope I’m helpful! Re: Struggling With Samsara: How Rare Is A Human Birth?

This makes sense! Thank you everyone! By animal care I mean husbandry: cleaning out, feeding, etc... But it also includes the other aspects as well. Thank you for the sutta, it is rare indeed!

I’m sure they’ll be welcoming! :D Just switch the digits. You're 35 if they ask. Not a good idea, if you cannot keep the five precept...
