Brahma state can be experienced within this life when a person can fully develop Jhanas on Brahmavihara meditation. I remember in the scriptures said one dwells like a Brahma God when meditating in those 4 qualities with success. I still believe Enlightenment is available here and now in this life. ...

In Thai custom, Thai monks will chant the seven books of Abhidhamma during funeral. I know they chant book 7 patthana, but all seven books? Are you sure? Abhidhamma term was coined due to its nature of discussing things in ultimate reality , without the usage of conventional term. Traditionally it was meant as a higher teachings in one way .
