I would say someone who is born into a devout buddhist family in a poor country has much better karma than the rich person born in a western country who goes through life not being interested or curious about Dharma.

Spend time at a theravada and zen center and see which one resonates with you the most. Both are legit.

In jodo shinshu there are zero precepts. One is allowed to get married, eat meat, and drink alcohol. This is the most widely practiced mahayana sect in Japan.

The dharmakaya is the same for every Buddha.

From what I hear the best ones are from Germany but they are a little pricey. I would love to try out the ones from Japan if I can find them here. The one I tried so far is Coors Edge which wasn't that bad.

Does this constitute as a precept violation? Yes. Forget the Buddha. Moreover, I think an effort to do so would just lead to bloating and frequent urination, neither of which are violations of the precepts.
