I don't see how that statement answers or is even relevant to my post.Since Jhana lite methods make use of multiple perceptions they are essentially a distraction. Jhana is of 1 perception and 1 perception only.

I just realised the jhanas taught at Pa Auk are Visuddhimagga jhanas, which are probably out of my reach. Is anyone aware of teachers, monasteries or centres where I might study sutta jhanas?
