Free Will or Freedom, perhaps is the ability to relinquish all preconceptions, the investigator not the know-er, the new learner, the new beginning, Freedom to choose to give up concepts and states of mind that cause suffering. But which know-er, or observer do we trust are there indeed two observer...

It is my observation that chance- luck and randomness play a far bigger role in this realm than many appreciate, freewill is perhaps not such a prevalent factor, if it exists at all? The conditions change all the time, very much like the concepts we create. The Buddha makes us aware of this constant...

Can anyone recommend a meditation cushion, mat or stool ?

Hello , I live in the UK and was just wondering if any of you folk could recommend a cheap meditation cushion, stool etc, I am tall 6-2 and thus the knees get a little bit of discomfort, I stand and walk all day in work. any makeshift ideas much welcome, not really wanting to pay above £15-20.

I think science needs challenging, on this I can agree with David, so much public money spent on space exploration etc, and yet we can't cure cancer? most of the space stuff, is in my opinion ,money down the toilet.
