Re: Did Christianity "borrow" from Buddhism?
And you will find none beyond the Jesus -went -to -Kashmir fringe of syncretic New Ageism. There is no biblical scholar of any repute , whether Christian or Jewish, religious or secular, who accepts any influence either way, other than at a rare and individual level, between Christianity and Buddhis...

Re: Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera gel is amazing stuff. A few years ago I had shingles. Re: cause of depression
All I know is, we managed to land on the moon many years back but our well supported scientific community hasn't been able to still find an actually lasting and long-term-effective treatment to one of the most common psychological problems today - which is depression. Yes, I am sour. :tantrum: Ther...

Re: cause of depression
hi, When i suffer depression it's usually because of unwise attention and lack of mindfulness. I am either caught up in a destructive or negative thought pattern and lack the awareness to take one step back to assess things. Depression can sometimes feel too overwhelming that i can't really practic...

Exactly so....so on Sunday I am off to Mass.
At least no one will think that James Stewart has been reborn as a frog or is in hell for having the temerity to star in "Its A Wonderful Life." You find a kinder brand of delusion.
