Re: Khuddaka Nikāya: which books are words the Buddha ???

Now turning to Anapanasati, the following from the Paṭisambhidāmagga about Step 3 appears correct, however I am not aware of any Buddhists that agree with the below, apart from my good self; although Buddhadasa agrees with me that "sabbe kaya" means "all bodies", which is obviously what the Paṭisamb...

Re: Khuddaka Nikāya: which books are words the Buddha ???

Can u explain more that 3: Sensual becoming, rūpå becoming, and arūpå becoming? If u using Abhidhammå u can. So you admit or confess above Abhidhammå is different to Sutta. KN is Suttås collection. KN includes books composed hundreds of years after Buddha Gotama. Theravādå = original/old buddhisme ...

Re: Khuddaka Nikāya: which books are words the Buddha ???

See numbers 271 to 272. You can see from (1) avijjā and (2) sangkhārå, there are "9 aspects". can you find it in other suttås? No! Āyasmā Sāriputtå Mahātherå expands on the dependence between delusion and sangkhāra that arises in tandem with the "9 aspects". Delusion <---> 9 aspects <---> sangkhārå...

Re: Khuddaka Nikāya: which books are words the Buddha ???

Even the principal four Nikayas/Agamas themselves are not entirely the same in style and content. E.g. the teachings of Satipatthana suttas in MN/MA and DN/DA are not entirely the same in SN/SA. Thanks. Previously Buddhadasa and more recently Sujato ('Piltdown Sutta') strongly questioned the authen...

The meaning of "rupabhava" & "arupabhava"

Dear Pali forum The teaching of Dependent Origination contains the terms "kamabhava", rupabhava" & "arupabhava", which respectively mean "sensual becoming", "material/form becoming" and "immaterial/formless becoming". "Sensuality" is defined in the suttas as relating to the five physical sense bases...

It appears the students of the literature here, regardless of their general views, do not believe what you post and expect improvement from you. :ugeek:

Bhava: Suttas that support Abhidhamma ???

Dear DW EB Subforum In respect to Dependent Origination, the Suttas define "bhava" as follows: And what is becoming? Katamo ca, bhikkhave, bhavo? There are these three types of becoming. Tayome, bhikkhave, bhavā— Sensual becoming, material becoming and immaterial becoming. kāmabhavo, rūpabhavo, arūp...

Please provide evidence you have read the Abhidhammå. Continuing to post unsubstantiated (false) speech is disgusting. Thank you

Re: Khuddaka Nikāya: which books are words the Buddha ???

it is easier to become a sotāpannå using Abhidhammå than the suttå. Unsubstantiated (false) speech. If people don't believe in Abhidhammå, Try to explain the teachings of The Buddhå Without quoting Abhidhammå. No one can explain the teachings of The Buddhå well, without quoting it (Abhidhammå). DN ...

Āyasmā Sāriputtå Mahātherås sermons. The scholars say Patisambhidamagga was composed at 400 to 700 years after the Buddha. However, ignoring the above, the Buddha did not teach in the manner below, therefore it is impossible (as I said) for Sariputta to teach in the manner below. Sariputta (example...

Stop with the bullshit about early buddhism.
I agree with you. :toast:
Abhidhamma often contradicts Sutta, including by Abhidhamma's own admission. To keep posting otherwise is obviously false speech from non-readers of Abhidhamma. :|
