This may be a personal opinion rather than an actual fact....plus videos of guru talk and two pretty little girls singing in another language don't equal a whole culture.

Agreed. Would people please avoid posting videos here that do not relate to Theravada Buddhism? Several have been removed.

I am currently studying these suttas:

https://suttacentral.net/sn31-gandhabbavagga

https://suttacentral.net/sn29-nagavagga

https://suttacentral.net/vv81/en/kiribathgoda

https://suttacentral.net/tha-ap324/en/walters

https://suttacentral.net/tha-ap50/en/walters

https://suttacentral.net/tha-ap482/en/walters

https://suttacentral.net/tha-ap500/en/walters

https://suttacentral.net/mn120/en/sujat ... ript=latin

I am at about 500 Pali words.

I find it helpful in bridging my memory palace to my dzogchen guru yoga, and also the Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva Pūrvapraṇidhāna Sūtra.

Also I think these three rebirths are the best:

'If only, when my body breaks up, after death, I would be reborn in the company of the gods of fairykind who live in fragrant roots!'

'If only, when my body breaks up, after death, I would be reborn in the company of the eggborn dragons!'

'If only, when my body breaks up, after death, I would be reborn in the company of the gods of the Thirty-Three!'

You should read more suttas and realize that each rebirth is a meditation experience that can be remembered, recalled, etc. When you read more about memory and mindfulness you'll see.

It's all about hypnotizing Maras into Pureland and laughing and laughing and laughing.

Good luck with your aim to be born as a little fairy in the woods then.

You need to learn the rebirth by choice sutta and learn when to be a human then go mara again and again with laughter.

You need to learn the rebirth by choice sutta and learn when to be a human then go mara again and again with laughter.

Then you can transform into a naga, take meru, transform into a monk and create an illusion to steal Sakka's throne and become a Bon Creator Deity.

You can maybe try reading Heart Drops of Dharmakaya and the Path of Purification....
