Finally decided to stop lurking and start participating.
I have been practicing with The Mind Illuminated for the past 5 years and started to read Ingram but there's something off about how he writes and what he says so I recently reverted to a more tranquil approach following mostly Thanissaru Bhikku's writings and Rob Burbea's, it helped me overcoming craving for jhanas and to stop looking for something to happen during my sits

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
