How does the "Manage draft" in user control works?
For instance, can I create a post and save it as a draft?
If yes how do you do it?

You don't even need to go to the Manage drafts panel option.

1. Write your draft.
2. Click "Save draft" button.
3. Turn your computer off and do some walking meditation
4. Tun it back on, visit the DW topic you were replying or the folder you were creating a topic on and click to post.
5. Instead of writing from scratch, click Load draft.
6. Select the draft version you want to continue editing.
7. Edit it, post it, and wait for this lovely communitiys wise replies!

I don't have a Save Draft button, on either Chrome or Firefox. My recollection is that it was buggy a few years ago, and was removed as an option because users complained about their drafts vanishing.

It is there on the two DharmaWheels, so maybe it could be reborn here...

I can not upload an image now. But check when you are writing on your post you'll see next to the preview and submit buttons the save draft and the load draft buttons to manage your draft. Ok?

It shows up when you are actively replying. I use Firefox and I see it while I'm writing this

Only see Submit and Preview on Dissenter & Safari. Nothing else here.

Using DWE or DP the Save Draft button is there.

When I first noticed "save draft" or something like that on DWT, I was very happy thinking: this is what I have been longing for, in the light of frequent unexpected log-outs with continual loss of drafts.

However, after a few monkeying with the function, I found it "complicated" and not very handy for me, quickly lost interest in it.

Now resorting to copy the whole composed text before pressing preview or submit buttons, it is more convenient, imo,

I checked my panel's configuration but it seems I have never activated anything for this. I can only say that it works well for me and that sometimes I make use of it.
