Many people frequent more than one forum anyways.

Re: E-Sangha
Terrible news about e-Sangha, I hope they get back on their feet as soon as possible. Perfect or not, they provide an important service to a lot of people, especially newcomers who need guidance the most.

Agreed. There are new discussions appearing all over the board. I bid welcome to all E-Sangha refugees! I hope they get it fixed soon.BlackBird wrote:When E-Sangha gets back up and running, it would be cool if you guys would stick around and post here too.
It's been nice the past few days with the activity spike.

Re: E-Sangha
What seems odd to me is that a temp php or index.html page hasn't been set up in the root public directory stating that the forum is temporarily down.
I still get the php/database error whenever I visit.
If control of the domain itself has been compromised that is a whole different set of problems.

That part in the TOS is really cool, guys.

Re: E-Sangha
IPB is working on the problem - it was an I-frame attack from a Russian IP. Leo has posted the following message and request for assistance on E-sangha.com
Currently our forum is down due to technical difficulties. I hope to get the forum up and running again in the shortest possible time. In the meantime, get your fix at http://www.buddhist-community.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; !

Thanks Karunika for the update.
I am sure it will be greatly appreciated by the e-sangha diaspora.

Hi folks,
since the ES problem seems to be a *real* one and because today I lost all entries and friends and groups on the Buddhist Community site as well I thought that perhaps this site here can be a place where I can stay in touch with my fellow ES mods and get to know what's going on.
