I've been thinking about this for years. I don't have any questions anymore that I would ask the Buddha were I to meet him.
Why not? Do you have it all figured out? Or is it that you trust the texts? If so, how do you know for sure they are all correct?

That, however, doesn't solve the problem, as the effects of association with certain people reverberates in one's life, in one way or another, for a long time after the actual meeting; reverberates in the form of new questions, doubts, prospects that yet need to be addressed or resolved.
