There are veggie haggis's nowadays Aloka. For veggie Burns fans. Its the pipes and the whisky thats essential... :twothumbsup

Is that bagpipes you're refering to...or a smoking pipe? Can't quite see myself with a pipe in one hand, a whisky in the other and a steaming plate of haggis at the ready, in spite of my Scottish ancestry !

Bagpipes Aloka....The haggis is brought in on a silver platter while a piper plays ...usually Scotland The Brave or some such...
Sometimes the haggis is flambed in whisky..like a Christmas pud in brandy..the while someone will be reading Burn's poem to the haggis which contains the immortal lines " Great cheftain o' the puddin' clan "......A pudding being anything steamed...sweet or not.
