Starts off a bit slow, but picks up in the middle.

"If the practice has entered the stream then there's nothing to compare it with. there's no suffering, like the suffering of a dhamma cultivator, and there's no happiness, like the happiness of one either."

Such an inspiring quote.

Found this video while I was trying to understand the difference between depression and disenchantment. I found a few articles at how meditation can have negative effects such as a sense of diassociation but I feel mostly content and at peace, think it's only a bad thing from the ego point of view.I mean sure I might have lost interest in many things I Use to like like getting lost in a movie plot or music and i don't know if that depression or disenchantment/moving on but I also lose a lot of things that I don't really need anymore such as negative self talk or positive self talk they both wear me out as self-ing is an exhausting process.I thought it was a short term effect of meditation but its been 6 years and I keep seeing impermanence at this point I feel like I got no other choice but to practice the path.

This is very impressive almost close to second Jhana.
However, make a self-evaluation with Jhana formula.

This site has probably been cited before, but in case not:

Also free printed books from them too.

Depression have sense of havyness (from dukkha), disenchantment have sense of lightness (from dukkha).
Ajahn Nanadassano (before ordaining) : Venerable Ajahn, what is the bigest error that buddhist do in their practice?
Ajahn Jayasaro : They stop practicing ...

Thanks Nwad,

I feel heavy when I have the wrong lens on ,attach to people or things through this sense of really thinking I am a solid being moving through time but not when I'm spending a lot of time alone contemplating or meditating or being mindful I feel free ,but somehow that's construed as depression as I'm not going out or hanging out as much or socialising, but It feels light and freeing, find it quite painful and draining to indulge in five sense pleasures, things like listening to music,or finishing an entire cheesecake or having a great night out at the movies they leave me feeling heavy regardless of how good, as they feel like weighted ball chains on my limbs sinking me underwater.

For example, you know the feeling of "euphoria".i find it disturbing.Very agitating.Very heavy. Its not the same with the calm mind it's too agitating and I literally feel sick.Maybe I am depressed but I can not stand that mental state it's eating a cake that's way to sweet and giving you a migraine.

However things like meditations or contemplation and renunciation fills me with a lot happiness or just a sense of completeness.

I mostly went through a phase where I felt grief and sadness when I started seeing anicca in everything and I mean even when we change body positions it just dawned on me like I am totally screwed cause I'm trapped in this change. And this heaviness I feel comes from being "attached" to things and getting sad when it changes then dukkha dawned on me.And then slowly I am starting to see that anatta really is the way out.If I don't dissolve along with this change I am screwed basically I feel some sort of panic cause the signs of annicca and dukkha are closing in.

You should perhaps trying to keep 8 precepts? ;)
As your worry about annicca its sura that you grasp on something, but you have to examine this closely by yourself :anjali:

Unfabricated Happiness.
I thought this recent 13 minute talk by Thanissaro Bhikkhu was especially clear -- decided to share here.

Our stressful fabricating obscures the happiness of not.

Great meditation instructions series by Gelong Thubten.
As you see he is a Mahayana Buddhist.
If you are tired of Mambo Jumbo Theravada meditation, just listen to this practical meditation guided by a very experienced monk.
Not many technical jargon and easy to understand.
This is only one of the many good videos of him.
