Kamma as fieldin bhava sutta.

Post by justindesilva »

Bhava sutta relates kamma as a field with tanha as seed and vingnana or cosciousness as moisture in life.
Here I understand kamma as field as the profession or the trade a person is gifted with in living. Tanha is the desire to earn and exploit life and consciousness the way finds application of thought or mind
As an analogy the field may be a muddy field with paddy as seed and vingnana as moisture. I wish to know how another may express what this field is, as kamma.
