Greetings to all:
I'm trying to find my way to the following citation: A II 207,26
I'm pretty sure the A is for the Aṅguttara Nikāya--the second part (II), probably refers to the volume #. Can someone help me with the rest of the citation? In other words, if this points to a precise place in the AN, can someone tell where it is? I believe different citation methodology is employed by different scholars. Tx jt

Re: A Question on a Citation
I checked here, but 207 doesn't seem to be on there.

Here's the nuclear option:
PTS Converter: https://pts.dhamma-dana.de/
Put
A ii 207
in the Book, Division, Number boxes.
Result:
AN4.198 (PaliEnglish (Sujato) English (Bodhi))

Does that sound right? They wear robes of sun hemp, mixed hemp, corpse-wrapping cloth, rags, lodh tree bark, antelope hide (whole or in strips), kusa grass, bark, wood-chips, human hair, horse-tail hair, or owls’ wings.

Re: A Question on a Citation
I found the citation. It was done in the Pali Text Format: Vol#, Sutta#, line#. This makes sense because I got the quotation from the Margaret Cone's Pali dictionary: she uses Pali quotes to help teach gramma, as well as to teach a word's meaning. I was able to find it in Bhikku Bodhi's excellent translation: he incorporates the Pali Text Society's numbering system to his translation of the AN.
