The below does not lead to enlightenment:
Wow... Buddha's talks on heaven, hell, this world, another world, Asuras wars with Devas, Peta, how Devas visited Him for teachings, Mara army, Nagas and Supannas, Supernormal powers through Jhanic powers...
Good kamma does not lead to enlightenment.
There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

The main point here is: Chanting alone doesn't lead to Enlightenment. And if a person think by reciting gatha or mantras alone can make a person gain Enlightenment, that makes that person similar to those misguided ones.
I am sure many here never take chanting alone can lead to liberation .
But you appear didnt state clearly what is
Silabbata paramasa .
No bashing No gossiping

Yet, this becomes topic. It seems certain people here called themselves Buddhist yet agreeable to behave like a Hindu.

I already said "And if a person think by reciting gatha or mantras alone can make a person gain Enlightenment, that makes that person similar to those misguided ones."

If a person thinks and believed that:"Now I chanting, chant a lot, therefore I'm Buddhist. Because of my chanting, this chanting only makes me capable of be Enlightened." Now imo this is Silabbata paramasa, partaking wrong interpretation of Buddhism too.

Sorry to get "personal" but since you joined this forum you seem to talk about other "people" ("selves") rather than the Teachings. Chanting is a way to learn the core Teachings.

Neither chanting the refuge to the triple gem nor chanting the evening or morning monastic services will "make you a real Buddha follower." If such were the case, that chanting alone did the trick, everyone can convert to Nichiren Buddhism and chant the title of the Lotus Sutra. Since that isn't the case, no one need do that.
In my experience, chanting can be very beneficial, the important thing is to understand why one is chanting in a particular way.
