Kama raga and kamacchanda

Post by justindesilva »

The first hindrance to marga pala or meditation is denoted as kamacchanda.
Yet kamaraga too is often discussed as unwholesome. Where do we draw a line between kamaraga and kamacchanda.
If I comment I would choose kamacchanda as desire for sensual feelings and kama raga as greed for sexual feelings and acts.
Greed means tendency to use an object or feeling and chanda means desire to do so, in my understanding. Pl. correct me if I am wrong.
