If the Buddha was in Jhāna 24/7 why then are we told that he entered and left the different Jhānas, for example when dying?
Maybe you should practice first to know?

I give you a hint, one who has lot of activities (hectic life), may not be able to maintain low jhana. Let alone high jhana.

Let alone Jhana, 5 precepts are probably impossible.
May you be relax, happy, comfortable and free of dukkhas from hearing true dhamma.
May you gain unshakable confidence in Buddha, Dhamma and (Ariya) Sangha.

More pertinent IMO is his back aching. Whether or not the Buddha's back "actually" ached is very significant in determining if you've a more "Theravāda-ish" or "Mahāyāna-ish" Buddhology, as I see things.
What is the Uncreated?
Sublime & free, what is that obscured Eternity?
It is the Undying, the Bright, the Isle.
It is an Ocean, a Secret: Reality.
Both life and oblivion, it is Nirvāṇa.

Look like you havent read SN 22.1. Also you havent understood 4NT.

Dukkha is Pancupadanakhandha. So stress/suffering/unsatisfactory only occured if you have upadana (personalization of self).

So you have dukkha only when you hold onto the panca khandha as yours. Arahant and Buddha have depersonalized panca khandha. Whatever arise, they dont care whether happy or sad or dukkha or sukkha or anything. Their Upekkha is fully estasblished. Heck they even throw away the dhamma, because the job is done for Arahant/Buddha.

They only think ah… this body is suffer, but my mind is not. So no dukkha there.

Btw, When you are old, it is not easy to maintain high Jhana.

Looks like you're wrong and don't care to admit it and would rather cast aspersions on my practice and understanding, to be quite honest.

Why did the Buddha's back ache, according to your theories? Surely you can explain this if you've such a deep knowledge of the four truths.

*MOD NOTE*

The thread is going off topic and there are already numerous topics on the Buddha's backache and the 24/7 jhana debate. Please stay on topic. Anymore off topic posts will be removed.

Here is a summary of the Visuddhimagga for free download that the OP may find helpful:

:anjali:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
