Parajika Exemptions (Sexual Activity)

Can anyone explain to me the following Parajika exemptions? Pls give examples to each. Also I am interested to know how it is decided. It seems that a mere sex with a woman or an animal cannot be just taken as a parajika. A group of senior monks must get together and do a full analysis and find the motive. It also seems to me they must make sure the real intention.

There are six cases when the pārājika 1 is not committed:

When the bhikkhu is sleeping or in all other cases when he is not aware of the sexual intercourse when it takes place.
When the bhikkhu is not consenting.
When the bhikkhu has fallen into unconsciousness or is in a state of insanity.
When the bhikkhu, being possessed by another spirit, can no longer control himself.
When the bhikkhu is afflicted by an unbearable pain.
When the bhikkhu has committed this action before the rules have been established.

Hello friends,

Someone is asking my intention of this question. My intention is to know the exemptions laid down by Vinaya itself. All those exemptions are clearly noted in the Vinaya. So bringing only an intention to see a question is irrational. This blog is here not just question what intention people have when they ask questions. Be open-minded and post your thoughts from dhamma vinaya aspects. Do not be a close-minded person. The main reason is dhamma is "ehipassiko". (Come and see) and not "you should only ask this and that" .

Do you have any other questions about it?

Moderator Note: Off-topic posts removed.

Members are not obligated to state their intentions, nor are they required to appeal to the sensibilities of members who prefer a pleasant attitude. And it is actually against the ToS to make off-topic complaints about topics that do not suit our preferences.

Furthermore, this is the Classical Section where opinions are not a priority.

Thank you.

Dear Wizard in the Forest. Thanks for the link. It totally made my morning, so much to absorb, it will take me a whole week. This is what I love about DW. One person asks a question, another one replies, and that reply
contains a world of Dhamma that opens the eyes of the reader...
This???
“Brahmin, in the world with its gods, its lords of death,
and its supreme beings,
in this population with its ascetics and brahmins,
its gods and humans, I don’t see anyone to whom I should
bow down, for whom I should rise up, or to whom I should offer a seat.
If the Buddha bowed down to anyone,
rose up for him, or offered him a seat, his head would explode.”
I was thinking of the context here.
In another sutta in Parayanavagga "head explosion"
is used in a different context.
Thank you. :candle:
